When you place an order

We collect the information needed to process and ship your order:

  • Payment information, which is processed securely through our payment processor. We do not store your card details.


When you sign up for our email list

We collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. You are not required to sign up for emails to make a purchase.


When you visit our website

We collect analytics data through Google Analytics. This includes pages visited, time spent on the site, general geographic location (country or region), device type, and how you arrived at our site. This data is aggregated. It does not identify you individually.


How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Fulfill and ship your order

  • Send you order confirmations and shipping tracking updates

  • Respond to questions or support requests you send us

  • Send you email updates if you have opted in

  • Understand how our site is being used through Google Analytics, so we can improve it

Third Parties We Work With

We share your information with the following service providers only to the extent needed to operate our business:

  • Squarespace: Our website platform and e-commerce system. Squarespace processes payments and stores order records. Their privacy policy governs how they handle that data.

  • Printful: Our print-on-demand fulfillment partner. We share the order information needed to produce and deliver your order, which may include your name, shipping address, email address, phone number (when needed for delivery updates), and order details (item, size, color, quantity, and production specifications). Printful's privacy policy governs their use of that data.

  • Google Analytics: Website analytics. Data is collected anonymously and governed by Google's privacy policy.

  • Pinterest: We use the Pinterest tag (a tracking pixel) on our website to measure how visitors interact with our site after seeing our content on Pinterest. Pinterest may use this data to help us reach relevant audiences. Pinterest's privacy policy governs their use of this data.


We do not sell your personal information to any third party.


Email Communications

If you sign up for our email list, we will send you periodic updates from LaClave Creative. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also request removal at any time by emailing support@laclavecreative.com.

Order-related emails (confirmations, shipping notifications) are necessary to fulfill your purchase and are not optional.


Data Retention

We retain order records for as long as needed to fulfill our legal and accounting obligations, typically seven years. Email subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.


Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your personal data where legally permitted

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Our website and payment processing are operated through Squarespace, which maintains industry-standard security practices. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us, and we will delete it promptly.

Additionally, our fulfillment partner requires that orders be placed by customers who are at least 18 years old. Our Terms of Service reflect this requirement. If you are a parent or legal guardian purchasing on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are at least 18 and accept our Terms of Service.
