Who is LaClave Creative?
I didn’t set out to build a “brand.”
I set out to encourage the kind of person who sits at a desk late at night, wondering if their work really matters—and quietly hoping God will use it for more than a paycheck.
That person is you. And honestly, that person is me.
Where LaClave Creative Started
For years, I carried big ideas around in my head—books I wanted to write, art I wanted to make, businesses I wanted to start. I’d fill notebooks, sketch concepts, dream about “one day”… and then go right back to doubting if I had what it takes.
I knew two things deep down:
God gives us creative gifts on purpose.
Most of us feel overwhelmed, distracted, and discouraged long before we feel confident.
I’d look around and see the same pattern: talented people dragging through their days, buried in tasks, forgetting that their work is one of the ways they serve others and honor God. Their desks, walls, and screens were full of noise—but not much encouragement.
That’s where LaClave Creative was born.
Why “LaClave”?
“La clave” means “the key” in Spanish.
To me, that’s the heart of this whole thing:
The key to momentum usually isn’t more information; it’s a small reminder that your work matters.
The key to courage is remembering you’ve been given a calling, not just a job.
The key to creativity is showing up consistently, even when you don’t feel brilliant.
LaClave Creative exists to place those “keys” where you’ll see them every day—on your wall, on your mug, on your notebook, on your shirt—so you don’t forget who you’re called to be in the middle of emails, meetings, and everyday life.

Do you use AI in your designs? Sometimes, yes - and we're upfront about it. When AI is part of the design process, the product is labeled: "Designed with AI, handcrafted with final edits." When a piece is fully handcrafted without AI, it's labeled accordingly. You'll always know what you're getting.
Is faith a big part of the brand? Yes - and it's meant to be honest, not performative. LaClave Creative is built on the conviction that God cares how we work, that creative gifts are given on purpose, and that our everyday work is a form of stewardship.
