Cookie Notice — LaClave Creative

Effective Date: February 5, 2026
Last Updated: May 25, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how LaClave Creative (“we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on laclavecreative.com.

1) What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer/phone) when you visit a website. They help websites work properly, remember preferences, measure site performance, and (if enabled) support advertising features.

We may also use similar technologies like pixels and local storage, which work in comparable ways.

2) Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to:

  • Keep the site working (security, page navigation, checkout)

  • Remember settings (like preferences you select)

  • Understand site performance (what pages people visit, what’s working)

  • Measure the performance of our Pinterest content and understand how site visits relate to our Pinterest activity (Pinterest tag)

3) Types of Cookies We Use

A) Strictly Necessary Cookies (Always On)

These are required for the website to function (especially shopping features like cart/checkout and security). If you block these, parts of the site may not work.

B) Functional Cookies (Preferences)

These help remember choices you make (like preferences) so the site feels smoother.

C) Analytics / Performance Cookies (Optional)

These help us understand traffic and improve the site. For example, if we enable Google Analytics 4 (GA4), it may use first-party cookies to help distinguish users and sessions for measurement.

D) Advertising / Performance Cookies (Active — Pinterest)

We use the Pinterest tag, a tracking pixel provided by Pinterest, to understand how visitors interact with our site after seeing our content on Pinterest. This helps us measure what content is working and make better decisions about what we share.

We do not currently use Meta (Facebook) or other advertising pixels.

If you decline advertising cookies, Pinterest measurement for your session will be limited.

4) Your Choices (Cookie Preferences)

You can control non-essential cookies in a few ways:

A) Use Our Cookie Banner / Cookie Preferences Tool

When you visit our site, you may see a cookie banner with options to Accept, Decline, or Manage cookies (depending on your location and our settings). Squarespace supports cookie consent options via a banner when enabled.

B) Browser Controls

Most browsers let you delete or block cookies. If you block cookies entirely, the site may not work as intended (especially checkout).

C) Opt Out of Targeted Advertising / “Sale” of Personal Data
(Where Applicable)

Texas residents have the right to opt out of processing for targeted advertising and the sale of personal data as those terms are defined under Texas law.

To opt out of Pinterest tracking on our site, you can: decline advertising cookies using the cookie banner or preferences tool on our site, or email us at support@laclavecreative.com with the subject line "Opt Out Request" and specify that you want to opt out of Pinterest targeted advertising. You can also opt out directly through your Pinterest account settings or at optout.aboutads.info.

5) Squarespace and “Non-Essential Cookies”

Our site runs on Squarespace. Squarespace provides privacy/cookie settings that can restrict non-essential cookies and (in many cases) show visitors a cookie banner for choice and control.

6) Cookie List Note

Cookie names and providers can change as Squarespace and other services update their systems. Squarespace publishes a general list of cookies it uses, which may apply to websites hosted on its platform.

7) Updates to This Cookie Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date.
