AI Use & Artist-Only Tag Disclosure — LaClave Creative
Effective Date: February 5, 2026
Last Updated: February 5, 2026
LaClave Creative (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses a mix of human creativity and modern tools to create encouraging designs and artwork. This disclosure explains when AI tools may be used, how we label it, and when we use Artist-Only tags.
1) Our Standard AI Label (Used When Relevant)
When AI is used as part of the design process, we disclose it using our standard label:
“Designed with AI, handcrafted with final edits.”
You may see this label on:
product pages,
Certificates of Authenticity (if used),
gallery labels,
social captions,
and order inserts (when relevant).
2) What “AI Use” Can Mean at LaClave Creative
AI may be used in limited ways, such as:
brainstorming concepts, layouts, or design directions,
generating draft visuals or variations used as a starting point,
helping refine wording, layout balance, or design options,
assisting with background removal, upscaling, or cleanup workflows.
Final designs are reviewed and finalized by LaClave Creative. We do not rely on AI alone to publish finished work.
3) What We Mean by “Handcrafted With Final Edits.”
“Handcrafted with final edits” means we personally do one or more of the following before release:
adjust composition, spacing, typography, or hierarchy (what your eye reads first),
correct color/contrast and print readiness,
refine or rewrite text for clarity and tone,
export and test files to meet production specs,
verify product mockups and listing accuracy.
4) When You Will See the AI Label
We include the AI label when AI meaningfully contributed to the final creative output, including:
AI-assisted concept generation that directly influenced the final design,
AI-assisted image creation that appears in the final product,
AI-assisted writing that is used as final or near-final copy in a listing, label, or product.
If AI is not meaningfully involved (for example, purely manual artwork), we may not display the AI label.
5) Artist-Only Tags (When They Are Used)
Artist-Only tags are used to clearly mark items that are 100% human-made by the artist, without AI being used to generate the final artwork or the final design elements.
You will see Artist-Only tags used when all of the following are true:
the core artwork is created by hand (traditional or digital) by LaClave Creative,
AI is not used to generate the final image/artwork,
AI is not used to generate the final design composition (the final layout you see),
any tools used are standard editing tools (cropping, color correction, cleanup) that do not generate new artwork content.
Where Artist-Only tags may appear:
product pages and collection pages,
limited drops or “signature” pieces,
Certificates of Authenticity (if issued),
select social posts where we want to highlight fully human-made work.
6) What Artist-Only Does Not Mean
Artist-Only does not mean:
“better” than other work,
“more valuable” in every case,
or that no software tools were used at all.
It simply means the final artwork/design content was created by the artist without AI-generated content being part of the final piece.
